When a buyer places an order, their payment is held securely by CropConnect. The farmer ships with a tracking number. The buyer inspects the delivery and confirms quality. Only then do funds release to the farmer (minus 5% fee). If the buyer doesn't respond within 7 days, funds auto-release to protect the farmer.
Joining is free for both farmers and buyers. We charge 5% only on completed transactions. That covers escrow protection, payment processing, CropScore, dispute mediation, and platform maintenance. No listing fees. No monthly fees. No hidden charges.

The buyer can file a dispute before funds release. This pauses the auto-release timer and notifies both parties. Our team reviews the evidence — shipping proof, delivery photos, messages — and mediates a resolution. Funds are either released to the farmer or refunded to the buyer.
